Mission Statement - Provo Children's Home The mission of PCH is to provide a safe, secure, nurturing and loving home environment for children who are in need of care and protection. The home is a place where they can develop a sense of belonging and begin to repair the hurt and misfortune that has beset them. The home shall provide substitute family care for a child until such time as the family of the child is able to provide adequate care to meet his or her basic needs or arrangements made for his or her custody or other permanent placement. Importance is placed on the duplication of the positive aspects of a typical family environment as well as exposure to extraordinary experiences that enhance their growth and encourage healthy overall development. Academics, religion and discipline are areas of priority, along with instilling good morals and a sense of personal responsibility. Our vision is to be able to provide a warm and welcoming safe haven for any child in need. Where children will be able to be safe, grow and develop their potential as law abiding members of the community. Our aims are:
